Inspector Sapperdeboere is a cheerful man who enjoys the good life and can often be seen eating and drinking. Although he is an enthusiastic policeman, he's often distracted by a little restaurant, a snack bar or a French fries stand when working a case.
He used to struggle with his weight but in Drie bollen met slagroom he finally found true love in Pamela's arms. Unfortunately, his bliss didn't last long.
